The problem is that we just couldn't catch him before he did it to put him on the kwitter so he never learned the right thing to do. We had guests staying a few weeks ago and we decided it would be awful for them to have to encounter the poo on the floor (and the kwitter on the toilet!!) so we've gone back to the litter tray. And Dudley of course chooses the litter tray over litter Kwitter. Think it must work if you are able to watch your cat at toilet time over a long period of time. It's frustrating as Dudley did so well!
Awe sorry to hear you had to quit Catlover though perhaps it was for the best. From personal experence I think this will only work for folks who have just one cat to train and have a person in the household at all times during the training.

Well, this week I have left the LK in the main litter tray but I put the orange insert in and sort of made a hole in the litter underneath. I am surprised at how well they are targeting the hole as is And then, as per a FB update, Dicky jumped up on the real toilet, wandered around a little and then squatted "correctly" over the hole - just practising though as nothing came out. He is the clever one of the boys ;-)

Progress. Slow progress, but progress. As above, I "started" with the orange insert in the LK in the main litter tray, with the top off. Earlier this week I put the LK on the toilet but with the orange insert, not red, as the boys had got used to having a hole in the middle after a few weeks. I put the lid back on the main tray and turn it around to make it inaccessible while I am in the house. I turn it back around for the daytime while I am work.

So far, so good. Bertie, the last one I thought would "get it" has pee'd through the hole a few times and Dicky has done poo half through the hole. Leo likes the water in the loo and is not quite sure what to do yet.

Going to follow this regime for a few weeks, perhaps leaving the main litter tray unavailable over whole weekends when I am mostly at home, and see how it goes. Then we go green

I have just started Roark on this so fingers crossed! I am convinced that my kitty is not the sharpest tool in the shed so I have been taking it very slowly. I moved his litter tray to the bathroom and it was there for a week and today we got rid of the litter tray and have the LK with the red ring on the floor. The bathroom constantly needs to be tidied though because Roark loves digging for China...

I might try this for my little girl. She has taken to jumping in to the bath and peeing down the plughole
