Well, this week I have left the LK in the main litter tray but I put the orange insert in and sort of made a hole in the litter underneath. I am surprised at how well they are targeting the hole as is And then, as per a FB update, Dicky jumped up on the real toilet, wandered around a little and then squatted "correctly" over the hole - just practising though as nothing came out. He is the clever one of the boys ;-)

Progress. Slow progress, but progress. As above, I "started" with the orange insert in the LK in the main litter tray, with the top off. Earlier this week I put the LK on the toilet but with the orange insert, not red, as the boys had got used to having a hole in the middle after a few weeks. I put the lid back on the main tray and turn it around to make it inaccessible while I am in the house. I turn it back around for the daytime while I am work.
So far, so good. Bertie, the last one I thought would "get it" has pee'd through the hole a few times and Dicky has done poo half through the hole. Leo likes the water in the loo and is not quite sure what to do yet.
Going to follow this regime for a few weeks, perhaps leaving the main litter tray unavailable over whole weekends when I am mostly at home, and see how it goes. Then we go green

I have just started Roark on this so fingers crossed! I am convinced that my kitty is not the sharpest tool in the shed so I have been taking it very slowly. I moved his litter tray to the bathroom and it was there for a week and today we got rid of the litter tray and have the LK with the red ring on the floor. The bathroom constantly needs to be tidied though because Roark loves digging for China...

I might try this for my little girl. She has taken to jumping in to the bath and peeing down the plughole
