Stopping male kitten from going into an area of the room
Hey guys, Sampson is exactly 6 months 3 weeks old today.
Basically, I've blocked off all access to the back of my computer from the sides (It's a very expensive computer) because he loves to nibble on wires. I have put on cable protectors, but because of his strength, he could easily just pull the wires out from the back. The only way he can get there now is to jump over the computer.
Now every time he does it, I put him out my room for a bit within 3 seconds of him going behind there with a stern "NO". Now when I let him back in, give it 5mins and he will look at me, chirp, and jump behind there again, like he knows he isn't allowed to go there but does it anyway like a 2 year old human lol.
I can't exactly block the top of the computer at the back to stop him going there due to the fans and ventilation.
Any tips?

I know I use my water bottle for bad behaviour no's if they don't take note but in places where they shouldn't go make in front of the object more interesting, they are like kids & a ban means there has to be something more interesting behind the computer than in front because otherwise he could go there...... a nice new toy that he only gets to play with, with you, when you are on computer.... Or you could try the trick i had to use with the two babes & xmas tree first year,a garland of holly leaves, ouch, that worked only one of them got through once & cried to be got out.... {no berries of course}....xxx

There is absolutely nothing behind the computer that he wants. Maybe it's attention seeking or something. We just had a big play fight and now he's knackered lol
Yeah I got the wires cabled up with those flexible plastic hoses, but behind the computer where he is big fitting into a small "place" he's blocking my power-supply fan, which I'm more worried about.
