After the Feline Fayre two of mine had a little mess... to rich I guess (and hope). Will probably mix it with the left over Whiskas kitten at some point to dilute it - until as adults I hope their bellies get more tolerant.

From what I know of Feline Fayre its a waste of money or like you said it goes right through them, my Rescued Maine coon was supposed to have been fed on this stuff for 8 weeks did not do her much good, she has had now a few months on Royal Canin and looks fantastic.

Thought reading all the information on the forum tonight I think the vote for Royal Canin is NO?????

I think the opinion is that RC is intentionally over-complicated in all the types and overpriced compared to some others. But I also think "whatever works" is important - as long as we all work from a well provided set of information.

I'm giving my babies RC wet and dry foods and it seems to suit them really well. It is more expensive than i would like, but I am reluctant to change when we haven't had one poorly tummy or one ignored meal since they arrived

    Thumbs up

I never have problems with Royal Canin, and I feed British, Mainecoon, Fit, Sensible, Kitten, Baby cat, Outdoor, Queen and Exigent.

I was however shocked the other day to see the price difference between the UK and and here in DE

For most of my food its about 58- 62 euros per bag less a little discount for buying over 100 euros and for paying before 14 days the bill both of which I do....

But on a whole my friend who uses it in the UK pays about 33 pounds per bag which is a huge difference. for a 10 kilo bag of which I use on average. 3 and a half a week....

But no one from the UK will ship me over a pallet full, which I would be happy to buy and pay for the pallet which is about 59 pounds to ship when I rung around...

So guess I have to like it and lump it. and pay as the cats like it..

Darcy my new British came with Iams from the UK, so I put it down for the cats, so he could have some when he wanted, they have ignored it.. INCLUDING HIM!!

    Hi Debbie

Who have you tried? I may be able to give you a couple of leads if you have not already tried them.
