Having problems changing from kitten to adult food
Hello,
Bungo is 10 months old now and as he is bigger than most full sized adult cats I thought we should think about switching him from his wet kitten food to adult wet food. We stayed with the same brand (felix) but at the moment he just point blank refuses to eat it. I have tried perservering for 5 days but he will not touch it and he will just scoff up the biscuits we leave out for him. I know there is nothing wrong with his appetite because when I gave him a tin of tuna to test this he ate it all. I have gone back to kitten food now as I would rather he eat that than nothing at all. It seems he just doesn't want to grow up!
Can somebody please help amd tell me how you all managed to switch?
Thanks,
Becky

Maybe he just didn't like the flavor and smell.
Many owners slowly transition their cats food, adding the new food to the old food and as the cat get used to it increasing the amount of new food.
Some cat will eat anything put in front of them and some can be quite picky and stubborn.
