strange things to eat
Ok Queation?
Has any of your maine coons have weird eating habits?
My first Feather ate human hair she found on the floor and she also ate carpet fuzz, my second Koda only at the hair but wouldn't eat out of a dish but off the floor, and my latest Missie eats cotton(tissue, toilet paper, the ends off qtips).
Am I the only on with this kind of problem? None of my other cat breeds I've had did any of these things only the ones with Maine Coon(I've had Siamese, British short hairs, American short hairs, and the list goes on and on).

Hi, Bas kitty doesn't have any strange habits like yours but he's funny. Being the biggest and the bossiest, he eats everybody's food. Bully. And, he's so funny. Over the years he's learned to just sit at his bowl at feeding time. And, he only wants his bowl until he's done then he makes the rounds to everyone else's bowls. When my dad cat sits and I call in to check on them, he always says, "Bas is so funny; he sits at his bowl and waits".
Bas is the biggest and does eat the most. I have to remind myself to give him more than the others so that he won't eat theirs. It doesn't work though. Then, he throws it all up! Yay me!Beckyboo... The Cat Whisperer

There's nothing Kenny likes more than chewing on cardboard. Yesterday a package was delivered to my house and he was on it as soon as it arrived, chewing away at the corners. Luckily he spits most of the cardboard out!
