Thread: Have royal canin changed their kitten food?

Good afternoon everyone ,

I have 2 maine coon cats, one is 5 months and one is 10 months. the past week or so both cats have been at emergency vets for sickness and diarrhoea , both requiring jags etc. The boy dexter, the 5 month old, has had diarrhoea again last night. I am feeding both cats royal cabin kitten food, the pink bag. It is not maine coon kitten, the green bag. I have been buying food from zoo plus and its been fine, i then bought another large bag from bitiba and even though it is the same pink bag, royal canin kitten, the kibble size is different shape and slightly darker. I was just wondering if this is the cause of my little boy and girls upset tummies. The picture below is of both food. The piece on the left is the stuff i have been getting for months, small and a sort of star shape. The one on the right is the food i have received from bitiba, notice it is a good bit larger and is round and slightly darker. Surely they can't change the same line of food to be almost double the size of kibble?

Can anyone help or know if they have changed their ingredients?
