They all tended to get slightly upset tums & a couple of them very upset tums if they were on what I class the "Rich"type of foods for more than a couple of days, hence good old Felix tins, has to be jelly, gravy causes even more problems, sachets still upset them if they have for more than one day & only the few biscuits because once again can cause too many upsets for some of them as well as cause weight problem with one of the boys.
Like everyone else don't want to be cleaning bums & trousers unless its for a genuine upset tum & have found the good old basic works well for mine,no growth problems either.Daughters female cat has had lots of problems with her tum over past few years & we always put it down to food changes,we have now found out it was stress related, not the cat being stressed but daughter. We have one of the biggest breed of cats & you would presume the strongest, but not so,they are very, very sensitive, bless them.
I can't even think about her eating a blue bottle, or a spider - I'm all or for encouraging a cat's natural instincts but that's just not nice...

I'm leaning heavily towards going back to the original diet, especially after reading this. We're your typical DINKY's (Dual Income, No Kids Yet) couple so we've been able to get Freyja the 'best quality' food that we could find, so the high meat content recipes seemed the right way to go. But perhaps it's just too rich for MC tums (or at least my MC).
