Going outside for the first time!!

If you're going to let your puss-cat out then it's really important that you train him to come when he's called. Treats are always handy for this process!

You could do it in stages as well, so go out with him on a lead or just spend half an hour with him outside and bring him in again. Gradually increasing, although you'll find that your MC will dictate how quickly it's done!! Also make meal times at the same time so if he does go for a wonder his tummy will bring him home!

Are you going to use a cat flap? Or are you in more control by opening doors/windows? It won't make much difference but if you don't have a flap then you run the risk of having to leave your MC shut out which is hard to do!
