Hi donnad the kitten pouches weigh 100grms but the adult only 85grms which seems strange because there looks a lot more in the dish when you empty one out which makes me think there must be a good fluid content in kittie food which is not a bad thing but all my big cats are on tinned food at supper time, two only eat the equivalant of one adult as they are very small eaters but I can get enough out of a can to feed the three bigger eaters with just a few biscuits plus the other two smaller eaters & in the morning with them if they have sachets two do three of them & again only a very few biscuits......
Although when they are young they seem to put so much away you think they have empty legs it amazes me when adults they seem to eat even less than a normal moggie but must still get enough or they wouldn't be the giants they are.....x
Reading above back makes it look as if I starve them once they are past kitten hood but I don't I promise.....they do have a food maize where they can graze during the day but there is hardly anything put in it & normally there is some left so they can't be starving....Last edited by jckkerrison; 14th October 2013 at 02:48 PM.
