Darcy goes to the vet on Thursday

at 7:30 to get her teefers out. She'll be getting 6-8 out (the vet said most likely 8) and then having the others cleaned and sealed. She'll be on wet food and softened dry food for a week after that and on pain medications.

I'll let everyone know when I drop her off and when they call me to tell me she's woken up and how everything went. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers

Big hugs and all the best. My George had all of his out eventually over two ops and years and he was fine very quickly - the lack of pain from his gingivitis more than made him happy with the post-op annoyance.

He was back on hard food in a very short time with no noticable effects - well, apart from the cute sticky out tongue sometimes and stuff.

I will be thinking of you, Darcy too at breakfast time!!

Someone at works cat was allergic to plaque and had all her teeth out and is fine, eating the others kibble and still bringing 'gifts' in through the catflap!!

Thank you everyone. I hate when they have to put my kitties under. If she get stomatitis again after the removal of these teeth they said in 4 months they'll just go in and pull the others out too.

Peter your George sounds like he had the same problems that Darcy does. Poor kitties

Miss Darcy hates the vet so so much. She will be in her carrier and just keep going Rowr Rowr Rowr it's very sad
