Apparently, it's pretty obvious by the shape of his ribs (and, ofc, the problem in his leg) since they don't develop properly due to calcium deficiency; rickets give them a certain shape and consistency observable by simply touching them. We live, we learn; wish I didn't have to learn the hard way tho :)

We're pretty sure he will have a full recovery, as he will get the proper treatment. So, we're back to the usual "love him, feed him, never leave him" program :)
