Possible Giardia & Cleaning up
The vet thinks that Dicky may have Giardia - I have now collected the samples to verify - and all three boys will be starting their pills tonight. The joy.
Anyway, lets assume that that's what one or more of them have and that the pills clear it up. Is there any further precautions I should take for their environment to prevent reinfection? Beyond normal cleaning that is - litter tray and related will be disinfected once the pills are in progress.
Ta.

I'm not being smart but be absolutely meticulous about hand and food hygiene. It's definitely not something you want to get yourself.
What pills do they go on and for how long? I know when I blindly treated my 3 they were given Panacur, 1 dose for 3 consecutive days so it was quite painless.

Oh my... I really feel sorry for you and your furries! From what I have read on other cat forums I understand Giardia is a downright pain to get rid of... one woman had to more or less fumigate her entire home with steam - every nook & cranny, furniture, carpets, curtains, clothes, bed linen...
Didn't your vet give you any advice on disinfecting the place?
