Hi Claire, i'm glad Fudge is responding well to the medication. I will be thinking of you on Wednesday, at least when you get the results back you can start dealing with the problem. I'm sorry I don't have any knowledge on Stomatitus to give any constructive advise all we can do is send our love to you and Fudge. Alison & Harry xx

Claire and Fudge
I know I am a new cat in the neighbourhood, but your post has touched me deeply. Having all my live some furbaby to tend to, I understand the worries and fears one has.
Just a short while ago I took Tinkerbell to the Vet for a mouth infection and painful ulcers. I tought it was caused by one of her back teeth. At the Vets the blood test showed that actually the stomatitis was just a symptom and not the primary problem, which were her kidneys.
I am glad to read she is picking up and the anti biotics do the work. Let's just hope that it is not Leukemia or Feline Aids. She sounds really weak and stressed - her health - I mean, plus the change of her home. I can imagine you shower her with all your love, but even positive change can cause stress. Hence I would like to suggest to give her a helping hand with a phermone colar (Beophar) and difuser (Feliway) to make her more comfortable and relaxed. Also check with your Vet if she can take any Vitamin B. For good immune system boosters I recomend Dr. Pitacairns holistic and homeopathic receipes.
Cuddles and hugs to you and Fudge and all the family - stay positive, all will be well (hopefully)"You can keep a dog; but it is the cat who keeps people, because cats find humans useful domestic animals."- George Mikes from "How to be decadent
