Thread: hairball???

my cats are both on wet and dry food with hairball control in it! meeka last night had a little cough (she sounded like a little child bless) and this morning i awoke to something on my kitchen floor which i can only describe as a mucosey hairball??? tmi..anybody else experience this as its a first for me and now im a little worried and puzzled is it normal?
