I have a question on HCM that I am not easily finding the answer to online and hoped one of you may help-
Do all cats heterozygous for HCM (one normal gene, one affected gene) eventually develop HCM?
Is it just a question of when will they develop HCM- maybe later than a cat which is homozygous for the disease- or could the cat live its whole life never developing this awful thing? :sad1:
