Brushing Help
I have been without success in being able to brush my Rommy, as soon as I start brushing or combing her she will run off, I do not want to have to pin her down to brush her, but need some advice on what I can do to brush her, as she has a few knots which I have managed to cut out of her fur.
Thanks
Kimbie

I don't know if these suggestions will work or if you have tried them but thought I would mention it. When I was fostering a cat called Scarlett she hated being brushed and she was a long hair which was a problem. But I first of all let her sniff the brush and even put it on the floor for her to get used to so it wasn't scary. After a while she didn't mind being brushed.
Is Rommy food orientated? I.e when she is eating can you stroke her etc and she is fine with it? If she is then maybe distraction with food will work. So either feed her treats as you brush her or when she is eating her food in the morning or evening do some brushing then and for short periods till she is used to it.
