Thread: For those that have kitties with IBD this may help...

Some of you may recall that some time ago we had a rather ill little Maine Coon that was not putting on weight.

After many tests and a bit of a struggle, we finally discovered that her problem was IBD.

After a long time on Metronidazole, and trying many diets including all the popular expensive prescription diets from the vets we actually found one that controlled little Marthas IBD after introducing it.

It was called Porta 21, it is a dry food for feline and is available in very large bags.

I just wanted to post our finding back as if there is anyone else out there that has issues with their kitty this diet / food may help you to try and control it.

I've no doubt a lot of kitties are different and will of course respond differently but it may be worth a try.
