Sleep well, baby Alice
The results came back today - she definitely had FIP. So, sadly, we had to make the decision to let her go. She couldn't (or wouldn't) eat and all she really wanted to do was sleep. We gave her massive cuddles last night, almost certain that we would have to take her today. Her poor little tummy was really distended, her eyes watering - oh this is a wicked, wicked disease!
So, sleep well little Alice, until we meet again.

Unfortunately we know only too well how you must feel. I am very sorry for your loss of Alice.
One of the main organizations that funds feline research is the Winn Feline Foundation. They have established a fund specifically to study FIP:
