Thanks Debbie, that's really useful. We are obsessed with weighing our lads and have even plotted a weekly weight on a graph, for each of them (I know, I know, sad....) They have outgrown the salad bowl balanced on the kitchen scales, so now we have got some digital baby scales (£45 Amazon).....I know I know, what are we like. My friend says 'you pair of nutters, even people who have babies don't have baby scales!' She has 3 children.

I am always amazed at how kittens weights can vary.
Our 2nd litter were all between 80 and 123 g. It took them a while to put on weight as they were 6 of them but by the time they left us they weighed between 1.8kg and 2.1kg at 13 weeks old.
Our next litter were born at between 130g and 160g and were all around 2.2kg when they left us at 13 weeks old. One of the boys is already 7kg at only 10 months old!
On a repeat mating of the smaller litter, they were all born much bigger but all only weighed between 1.4 and 1.6kg when they left us.
Our young stud boy Storm is very small at the moment - only around 3kg at 6 months old but then I know that his dad was a slow grower and stayed long and lean until he was older so I am not worried. He is growing well and maturing, judging by how he loves grabbing the girls round their necks already!!! Our previous stud boy was a very quick grower and weighed around 5kg at 9 months old but then he seemed to come to a standstill and didn't put on much more weight at all.

In Real life terms... Badsworth Tabloid Junkie MJ
The weight chart I used was for Litter of 9 this litter we have now is of three and they are bigger... but that is an average weight.. MJ was always inbetween the female weight and the male weight...
Our MJ is 11 months and he is 8:17kg he was one of 9... he was the smallest in the litter
He soon outgrew his little sister...
I have a photos of him when he was soooooo little... lI can not believe he is like he is now!!
He has only been fed Royal canin kitten until he was 6 months and then Royal canin Mainecoon mixed with Sensible, and fit and a little kitten not much!!
Hope you like his photos!! and get an idea..... the latest photo of him is on the page about his tail......
