Just a quick question
Hi all, just wanted a bit of reassurance really. We went yesterday to pick up our new baby Sebastian and all semmed well but since we got up this morning his eye seems a bit wet and he keeps sneezing, other than that he is eating and playing!I was wondering if it might be something to do with his vaccinations or something more sinister? He is booked into the vets tomorrow but im still concerned.

His vaccination card has yesterdays date on,so must have had it early as we picked him up at 11.00 I had been under the impression he was having it a few days before we had him,but not sure now!

Not the best thing to do to send a kitten on his way after just having a vaccination, normally a breeder will have it done at 12 weeks and then the baby goes to his new home at 13 weeks.. it sounds like he might have a touch of flu... but the vet will tell you for sure. has he had a vaccine including Chlamydia do you know?

Just asked because the Nobivac forcat has been giving a few reactions to Chlamydia.
You have an appointment anyway at the vets, so at least after you have been this will put your mind at rest, this is the most stressful time for a kitten and if they are carrying something this is when they will shed it.. Have you rung the breeder? because they do like to know if something is not right, and its best to tell them now anyway, in case the kittens they have left or other kitten that are soon going to their new homes.. develop similar symptoms!!
