    Question Weight Chart Revised

Sorry, I actually thought I had updated as promised...

This weight chart is based on a litter of 9 kittens I had.. plus my own Girls and boys as they grew from kittens to adults.

Our own bred baby MJ one of the litter of 9 is bigger now than the weight chart.. currently at 11 months weighs 18 pounds (8.164)

A very skinny maine coon was the one we recently got back aged 14 months she weighed just 8 pounds which is 3.62.. she looked shocking.. so this is not a good look for a Mainecoon of this age.

If any one would like a copy of this spread sheet, to use at a later date to infill the details. of their own babies let me know.. and I will add it as an attachment..

    Average weights in grams
    Mainecoon.

    Wks - Male - Female
    00 - 113 - 107
    01 - 218 - 212
    02 - 318 - 306
    03 - 424 - 403
    04 - 532 - 502
    05 - 646 - 611
    06 - 786 - 732
    07 - 967 - 863
    08 - 1090 - 997
    09 - 1235 - 1121
    10 - 1406 - 1262
    11 - 1579 - 1405
    12 - 1769 - 1567

    26 - 4538 - 4134
    39 - 6307- 5634
    52- 8190- 6391

A full sized fully grown male Mainecoon should not weigh, to be healthy more that 25 pounds ( 11.339 )

A full sized Female Mainecoon should not weigh to be healthy more that 15 to 18 pounds
( 6.803 -8.164) Though I have found that the average weight for a female is around --- 10 and 15 pounds.

    For reference:

    1 ounce = 28.35 grams
    100 grams = 3.5 ounces
    454 grams is one pound

Minimum birth weights was around 75 grams for females and 83 grams for males.
Minimum weights at 12 weeks were 1200 grams for females and 1370 for males.
