Had a bit of a nasty surprise this morning as I stepped in something cold and wet- I looked down to see something that looked like a small, wet, yellow poo! For a moment I thought sylvie had had an accident out of his litter tray but on closer inspection (yuck!!!) I realised it didn't smell and was in fact from his other end!!!
Sorry- had to share....I'll never look at chicken korma in rhe same way again.
Thats brilliant,sorry but had to giggle,I think a lot of us on here will have done it & got the tshirt,but is great when it happens to someone else,chicken korma was always my favourite but perhaps that is about to change...
:LOL: having googled hairballs earlier, I found someone describe them as 'hair logs'. Yip, definitely more accurate! Think I'm going to have to get sylvie used to being brushed- I got scratched in the face last week trying to groom him. And that's so out of character for him.
Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed but I have never ever seen a hairball over here either. They've only coughed up a couple of slimy sprigs of cat grass once or twice. But no chicken korma as of yet.:winkwink:
I'm sure I'm about to jinx things but same here. Amazes me as Freyja's getting quite a long, shaggy coat.

My MC is three now and i must admit the first time he threw up a hairball i was horrified! I thought something inside him had died!
Nothing nearly as appealing as chicken korma i'm afraid!
I moved Arthur on to special MC food and its helped. Doesn't prevent it totally but makes it bearable i think.
Maybe you have a "hair log" to look forward to!?? :LOL:
That's something to look forward to then, and just in time for Christmas... hoping OH's feet find it before mine!
All of you who still haven't seen a hairball coming out of your cats mouth, you have to reconsider things. Hairballs HAVE to come out. It's really important for your cat to be able take them out, due to the fact that, otherwise, might cause serious problems.
My cat throws up two or three times before he manages to get rid of a, usually huge, hairball.
Correct, but all cats lick themselves to clean their fur. The shorthair cats usually don't form hairballs, but semi longhair and longhair, do. All these hair they lick go somewhere, right?
So, it's better to get rid of them than just exist somewhere inside them.
There is something i give him once in a while, however i cannot recall its name. I dont thing it does much, though.
My vet has told me that its good for the cat to "export" the hairballs.
I have to see your cat spitting out hairball. Lololol...
