I found one of Wicca's baby teeth!
So this week, I've seen two things that I've not seen before.
The first: Wicca was gently (believe it or not) chewing my hand a couple of days ago, and when she stopped I saw something white catch on her bib. I pulled it out of her coat and found a little baby tooth! I have never seen a cats baby tooth before in my life, and I'd read that they often swallow them when they finally come loose so you hardly ever see them. No wonder she's been gnawing on anything she can lay her paws on lately! Had to post a photo, because I'm a sad creature and Wicca doesn't have a pillow to slip it under for the tooth fairy to claim.
The second: I was amused a couple of months ago to read a thread about cat farts. I realised I'd potentially been blaming OH as it had never occurred to either of us that a cat might actually fart, especially one as dignified looking as Freyja. Now, I know I affectionately call Wicca "Satan's Spawn" occasionally, but it's generally when she's had me awake half the night clawing my earrings or chewing my hair. Today, however, Trumpet Trousers let rip with some foul smelling gas, that could only have come from Hell itself. It was that vile that she folded her own ears flat, dropped her head like a dog, and jumped off the bed to find cleaner air nearer the floor.
Fortunately for those reading this post, I can only make visual recordings of the baby tooth, and not olfactory recordings of the evil vapour from Wicca's bottom.

Teeny tiny toothie! Can't wait til Monty gets his adult gnashers and stops gnawing on anything that stands still long enough - I've had to make some chair covers for the tops of the dining room chairs out of old beach towels today, Nige lost the end off his mobile phone charger yesterday, and Gracie now only has half length whiskers thanks to the Monster that is Monty aka Chewbacca!!!

Funny that... when El Monto was younger we often called him things like 'The Evil One' or 'The Dark Lord'... And we commented on the sudden smell of sulphur when he entered a room. I guess it's the devilish black smoke look that inspires you to think up such things.

Smell of sulphor... that's put a HUGE smile on my face, I wondered why I recognised the vapour trail TT left behind her - school Chemistry!
I believe the tooth fairy made her way to the house to drop off some treats for our brave soldier, but was sadly knocked unconscious by what we believe to have been mustard gas, emanating from TT's bum... when the tooth fairy finally came round, she took off in a shower of fairy dust in search of a Hazmat suit.
