LOL, this is so true!!! We often forget that she's still a kitten - particularly as the Monster is so tiny in comparison to her! His latest growth spurt has lengthened his legs so he's at the really gangly, walking on stilts stage. He's so clutsy at the moment though, he fell down the toilet bowl yesterday and just after we'd dried him off he turned in his sleep on the arm of the sofa and fell straight into their water fountain!!! Hopefully his body will catch up real soon

Friends and family no longer ask us how Freyja is... they ask how BIG Freyja is, and when you say "over 11lbs at last weigh in" they look a bit taken aback. And then they come down for dinner, and both cats charge into the front room to be nosey and welcome the visitors, and these same friends and family then blurt out (generally before the internal censor in their brain stops them) "holy crap, is that the bloody kitten??". My neighbour has two cats and one of them is a big beast of a tom cat, and I fell in love with him the first time I saw him - a huge black and white moggie that stalks round the garden like a lion. And I couldn't get over how big he was. Freyja - at 10.5 months - is bigger than he is now. She dwarfs their other cat.
