I was trawling through the laptop earlier and came across the first pic we ever saw of Gracie (taken at 16 weeks). We brought her home at the beginning of September '10 and having watched her sprawl all over me for some quality 'mummy time' this evening I can't quite get over how much she has grown in just 4 months!
At this rate it's probably just as well she doesn't like to sleep on the bed :drool1:
She sure has growed & looks very pretty. The one thing I miss with our breed of cat is the baby sweetness it seems to vanish very quickly. Have you had people come round to see the "kitten" & when you proudly point it out they say lovely but we wanted to see the kitten,it is the kitten,can't be its too big,it is the kitten,well how old,coming up to 4 / 5 months,then you get the reaction,bl***dy h*** however big is it going to get, the fascination of the breed really seems to hit then & I don't think they realise how much more they are still going to change over a pretty long period of time.
Please post on this thread again in another four months so we can see the difference yet again,just love her colour...x
Hi Rachel, yes she certainly is a looker, such pretty markings, love the white on her muzzle. I agree Jackie it's great fun to refer to the lads as 'the kittens' when they're now so much bigger than Barney! I quite often catch myself saying 'when they were kittens' - hang on, they still are! What I mean is 'when they were really small'. But with this breed, 'really small' doesn't last long!
LOL, this is so true!!! We often forget that she's still a kitten - particularly as the Monster is so tiny in comparison to her! His latest growth spurt has lengthened his legs so he's at the really gangly, walking on stilts stage. He's so clutsy at the moment though, he fell down the toilet bowl yesterday and just after we'd dried him off he turned in his sleep on the arm of the sofa and fell straight into their water fountain!!! Hopefully his body will catch up real soon :smile:Quote:

We have a 15 weeks old "Peanut" and he is very uncoordinated!
