Ohhh,I luv that,sure beats my knickers any day,could nearly beat the pink PJ's & fluffy slippers but I still chuckle at the thought of that combination walking the street at night with a cat on the end of a lead & nearly getting lost, now this, how ever did friend explain that to friends mum,I think I would curl up & hibernate,but it is funny isn't it.....Mind is still all a whirl {last word not what I planned putting but thought twice for once before writing} !

Ha ha I was waiting for that one lol. I would love a dog but unfortunately hubby isn't a dog lover, and with stories like this one can you blame him.
Don't knock pink pjs! My friend was wearing pink cat pyjamas (and recovering from food poisoning) when she met, for the very first time, the man who was eventually to become her husband! Good things come to those in pink pyjamas!Quote:

I really enjoyed your story! How funny! I live 'in the country' with only one neighbor in sight and go out in all kinds of weird outfits....If I ever move to more of a neighborhood I will have to watch myself! How hard was it to get your cat used to the harness? ( you use a harness rt?) I'd love to take this guy outside. Tried this nice soft expensive harness thing when he was smaller. Just around the house...he would just work his way out of it....Now he is so big I have to get another harness but not sure what would be best.
Hello, i started training Paddington at 12 weeks. I bought an adjustable harness as he was growing so quickly. I put it the harness on him, give him a treat, take it off and repeat this a number of times so he started associating his harness with something good. Then left a bigger an bigger gap between putting the harness on and giving him the treat. Did this fora few days and then eventually took him outside. Just a few minutes then brought him back in. Eventually we are now at the stage that when i get my keys off the hook in the hall he waits by the door in the hope he is coming with us too.Quote:

We take him to the shops in the car and took him to our parents house. It gives you much more freedom when you can take them with you.
We are going to start training Phoebe soon with the same technique. Good luck with it and persevere!
When Pads is a bit bigger we will buy him a walking jacket like these ones...Walking Jacket for Cats. Take your cat for a walk! Safe, secure and fun. i think it will be more comfortable for him.
