Embarrassing!!
Hiya,
I thought i would share with you something rather embarrassing that happened to me the other day.
So, i have been training Paddington to walk on a lead for a few weeks now. He is really good and doesnt even seem to notice the lead. Have ventured outside a few times now but no futher than a few metres as i dont want to overwhelm him.
So, the other day, it was 11pm, i was in my pink pyjamas (with pink penguins on), my oversized slippers and fluffy dressing gown and i think "ill take paddington outside quickly, no-one will see me as its so late". Paddington was being very good and walking well so i got carried away and went further and further away from home. I have only just moved into the area and am still getting used to the lay of then land and suddenly realised we were lost!
We were suddenly in a maze of streets and pathways and parked cars everywhere. Id been focussing so much on watching Paddington and making sure he was ok that i forgot to check where we were going!
I hurried past a house because i could see there were people lingering by the door so thought id nip past before they come out and they wouldn't see me. They opened the front door just as i walked past! cringe! I heard someone say "thats girls walking a cat" which is embarrassing enough let alone being out in the streets, lost, AND in my PJ's walking a giant kitten!
Paddington thought it was all great fun! He got a lovely long walk.
:(
We were out for about 20 minutes in the end! I have never been so glad to see our house before.
The things that go through your head when you are lost. I was imagining having to knock on a 'friendly looking door' and begging to use the phone or asking for a bowl of water!
Vowed to only take him out fully clothed in the future (which seems rather sensible in any case)!!
Has anyone else got any embarrassing MC stories?????
J

Embarrassing
Thank you Candes, not, I still think Jolly wins though, mine happened in the house & I was not wearing them,we had visitors Jolly & heard China making noises out in the hall that tells us she has killed a "mouse" so we congratulated her & she promptly walked in & dropped her "kill" at the feet of our visitors, yes,a pair of my knickers, luckily they were clean, when I went to the bedroom to check I must have left the drawer slightly opened because just about every item in there was spread around the room, she would always pull any item of clothing off of radiators if put there to air but it is not something you leave around when people are coming, yes embarrassing, luckily we knew the people well, they loved it I had to blame my red face on drink & China just sat looking smug, but I think walking around outside, cat on lead, pink PJ's,oversized fluffy slippers, not something you would EVER catch me doing, bet the old heart quickened when you thought you were lost, just luv it,great story to read after a hard morning at work,thanks.....

Great stories thanks for sharing ! I haven't personally had an embarassing moment with any pet, but a good friend of mine who has a dog certainly has one of the most embarassing stories I have ever heard. I would love to share it with you, but I am not sure I could get away with posting it on the forum if you get what I mean ;)

Oh, no, there is nothing more embarassing than wandering with your cat in pink PJ and oversized slippers on the streets. Nobody can beat you in the competition for the most embarassing story Even walking totally naked would not be so embarassing
