Do other ladies on here think it is great to see the men getting as excited as us over waiting for MC's to join the family & the different antics they get up to,hubby has always loved all our animals but he is just sooo proud of these cats ,he invites people in to see them & at the shows,I thought I could be pretty friendly & talk about them but he is worse than me,I know that says something before some bright spark puts it on....!!!! x

No they arrived with them, I think put on by their previous owner. We've left them for now but I'm not a fan of collars for cats so these will probably go. The babies were a unplanned arrival and brought basic essentials with them - we are just working through a shopping list and not having had house cats before I'm thinking maybe harnesses would be a good idea for outside visits, in which case it is probably a good thing that they are already used to collars.
We are only on day 4 and they have settled really well, they are eating well and have a huge interest in food with attempts being made to dive bomb our plates at mealtimes! They are both now coming up for cuddles and are very vocal in making demands for attention. We started them off in one room and gradually opened up the house and they both now seem very at home. So far so good!

Things can only get better ,so very pleased that you are all getting on so well together.
I think I know where Candes was going with the cat collars, she most probaly thought
the same as me but got round it in a very polite way.Take em off,for one thing with coats
like MC's have they will leave a mark around the neck where they rub,you can always
tell even on a domestic short haired when they have been wearing them, also some don't
release like they should if they get hung up on something....
