A curious mind wants to know.....

OK so maybe a daft question but i will risk it!!
Those of you who have male and female MCs. Judging by face alone could one distinguish between the gents and ladies.
I think I could have a good shot at decision making where Moggies, and I say that with the greatest respect and affection, are concerned but find it hard looking at pictures of MCs.

We have 2 boys and 2 girls and I think the girls have "softer" faces and seem a little more "demure" in their general outlook.
Years ago before having cats, I could not tell the difference, but over the last few years I can generaly tell the differnece. "Moggies" tend to be harder to work out, but I think that is because of the varied mix in their backgrounds.

I was able to determine the gender by looking at Maincoon cat until Antonia posted this website of the German cattery. Their females look quite ambiguous, may be with 1 or 2 exceptions:

Very easily, even when they are babies, for me the male is much more! might not make sense lol Male..

As they grown the size difference shows and then to maturity!! wow... However one of our girls is a big girl but when you look at the magnificent male coonie I think you just see it..

When I went to visit the litter the males just looked different to the females something in the face and eyes I think
