Litter Kwitter Toilet Training Kit for Cats with DVD by Doogie's | Pets at Home
Ours our doing really well at the mo! It's on the floor at the moment and next week we move it onto the toilet to start the real training!

with schrodinger we use something similar to this and half fill it with oko plus toppping it up as we remove the clumps.
We did have a large covered one (well it looked huge when we got him as a kitten, seems tiny now) but with his runny rear end we found that he would step in it more often due to the constrictive space and him being a boy and thus totally lacking common sense so we tried the large open box which helped a great deal. With the amount of litter it can hold the pyramids he can make are truely impressive and put the sandkings (outerlimits) to shame.
re. the litter kwitter, i think once we have schrodo sorted with his runny tummy i think we'll try it out. i find using oko means theres a lot of dust that you have to keep on top of. goodluck toilet trainers !
We've moved the litter tray into the bathroom so we will start the first stage of litter quitting soon!
Excellent!! We put the litter kwitter on the floor in the bathroom. We left it there for just over 1 week. Last night we moved it from the floor to the toilet for the first time.
Both seem pretty happy with it and have used it on the toilet for number 1's and 2's. Hurrah!
I think my 'litter on floor' OCD will have to be relaxed during this training! Its everywhere.

I thought id give you all a quick update on Phoebe and Paddingtons progress with using the Litter Kwitter.
VERY pleased with them so far. Litter Kwitter is on the toilet, still on the first stage but both cats using it without encouragement. They really have been fab, especially when i read the hell people have had to go through even to get their kitties to this stage.
Only 1 problem, Litter Kwitter in bathroom, bath also in bathroom, mummy in bath soaking after a long day at work, kittie does GIANT poo in Litter Kwitter.......mummy out of relaxing bath in 30 seconds due to the pong :( mummy has shower instead.
i just spat my cup of tea reading that :c)
Now there's a picture that's stuck in my head!!!
Perhaps when daughter goes off to college next fall we will give Litter Kwitter a try with her bathroom. A couple of questions/concerns, though: How do people put up with having to remove and replace "seat" for human use constantly? Seems like this would get annoying quickly. Also, is this thing really large enough for 20+ lbs male MCs to use? Doesn't look like it from the photos with regular cats on it.
We got so disgusted with the clay dust from litter ending up coating everything nearby, that we have got 3/4 of the pans with World's Best now, and only one with clay. World's Best does not control poop odor as well as Fresh Step clay, but NO dust from it. Most importantly, all the cats will use it--unlike Swheat Scoop and some other non-clay we have tried. Still have one clay pan available in case one of them just must have clay.
Hmmm- the tray is quite small but I'm hoping the cats are clever enough to get their back region on it. Plus Dudley and sylvester are not massive MCs. We're going on holiday for a week and have friends to cat sit so we are waiting until we're home before we swap the litter tray for the litter quitter. They've got a really large covered tray at the mo- I hope they don't rebel!!
