NOT the best start to my morning!
Am getting ready for work and all of a sudden i get this wiffy smell.... Im thinking which smelly kitty hasnt covered up their mess in the litter box... Well i walk into the living room to see the two naughty monkeys rush past, and the smell follows them... Now im panicking in case one of them has stood in their mess and is currently paw printing it around my front room!
Well, let me tell you, it was alot worse than that... I go to pick dodge up and his underside is covered in smelly poo (and now my hand is) so i chuck him in the bath room and get to work cleaning him up - credit to him, he was a very good boy and let me get on with it, i dont think he was too happy about it either...
Well, then i walk back out and go to check on Dizzy, knowing that they were both playing together, he could be covered too... Well his beautiful tail was COVERED!! I have no idea what they had been playing at, but THANK GOD none of this mess was on my sofa that they were both innocently sitting on before i nabbed them...
Arent kittens fun?!

I totally sympathise with you - I have had many occasions of chasing them round the house trying to work out who is covered in what!!
At least dodge was well behaved when you cleaned him up!

Oh dear, you have my sympathy!
Had to laugh the other day - 11pm at night and hubby, who was never a pet lover before we met, was sat in his dressing gown wiping the smeary cr*p off Gracie's bum with a baby wipe! Now if I'd have predicted that would happen all those years ago he'd have laughed me out of the house

tehehehe!!! the things you do for love
Annie - our 9month kitty - used to do that, the times we had to wipe her bum (and surrounding area) oh the joy!
And when we first adopted Bob he was constipated and had a whole poo stuck to his tail!!! that was hilarious, chasing him, trying to retrieve the poo before it fell on the floor or he sat down!
The lads and Annie get their bums wiped quite often actually, we keep a handy pack of baby wipes out at all times...
High five to you for washing him in the bath, I'm sure we'd be clawed to death if we tried that

I feel your pain. Zack was a notorious carrier of poop for quite a while - like you I would be sitting down and suddenly the aroma would knock my nose off my face - I would hunt around and bingo!! poop covered cat!!! but it is a wonderful relief when it finally ends and all remnants of poo ends in the tray and not on the cat!!!!!
ps - took a couple of months tho
