Training the cat to do #1 in the box.
We just got her going on 3 weeks ago from a shelter, she uses her box but has found a liking to peeing in my bed. I read on how to train, threw another box near the first since some don't like using the same box but now she is doing #2 in the other box.She is banned from my room for a very long time now but this still needs to be dealt with.
Our other cat died 4 months ago so Im not sure if that is a factor of her behavor. Besides that she is still shy, getting close to her can be a challenge. Any idea's or tips is appreciated. thx

Training a cat to do
If you have a spare room try putting her the trays & food into one place where she can gain some confidence in herself & enviroment for a while & just let her into a room with you when she can be watched to make sure she doesn't do something undesirable but perhaps also make that a time of having a little special play session to get the bonding side going, she could be picking up on the smell of your other cat & suddenly feels threatened again
