    Poor Ruby

Our poor Ruby has been at the vets today. My own fault entirely - when I feed her and Cleo, they have biccie down all the time and then have 3 wet meals per day. I always sit and wait for them to finish and then take the bowls away but on Friday I forgot. I caught Ruby eating wet food that had been down in a very warm room for about 3 hours.

All saturday night and saturday morning she had sickness and diarrhoea and although she isn't as bad now, the dirarhoea was still ongoing.

The vets checked her over and said that she was fine in herself and has given me some antibiotics, just in case, and also their upset tummy pack. Luckily Cleo hadn't eaten any and so she is fine.

I feel like a very guilty kitten mummy at the moment :-(

I have to admit I have done it once before and that is why I am normally so super careful when it comes to wet food. Hopefully she will be over it quickly and back to normal in no time.

She isn't overly impressed with the sensitive food that she is on but I will keep her on that today and tomorrow and then hopefully start to mix her normal food back in.

    Lesson learned I think!

Poor Ruby, not only has she got tummy ache she is probably wondering why her slave is pouncing on her every time she uses the litter tray and looking at her bottom!

Poor baby that is attatched to the ears.....
Do hope Ruby is feeling better now,why is it always the one that is slightly more nervous that gets the problems & then you have to upset them more to get it sorted out,is she all sorted now,bless...x
