Thread: Winston slept independently for the first time last night!

Our 14 week old kitten had been sleeping in our bedroom since his arrival 10 days ago.
It was his own choice and it didn't bother us.....so last night just before midnight as I got ready to head to bed , I looked at him on his cat tree and asked "are you coming?" but he gave me this look as to say "nah I'm all grown up now and I prefer to stay on my cat tree". Great!!!!!!!
Well he did sleep on his cat tree all night but at 6.30 a.m, I was woken by him coming into the room and jumping up on our bed. He didn't rest until I got up to give him his breakfast...........he's teaching us very quickly
