Dizzy seems to be fascinated by water... Dodge my cross loves drinking from the bathroom sink tap, Dizzy joins him, but instead of licking the tap, he tries to catch the water as it falls and often sticks his head right under the tap, lapping the water from the sink hole.... He isn't bothered though lol
Dizzy also loves to sit in that sink and watch me have my bath, or rather watch the water and bubbles He hasnt jumped in yet, but i have had to stop him a couple of times, i just dont think i could manage the towel drying and hair dryer palaver that would ensue
ALSO forgot to add, they get into the sink, by first jumping on the toilet lid.... you can see where this is going... A number of times i have heard a splash and seen Dizzy with his back paws in the toilet!! DOH! The boyfriend has been told time and time again, PUT THE LID DOWN WHEN YOUR FINISHED! lolLast edited by Maybe_Maincoon; 1st April 2011 at 02:48 PM.

I thought my cats were drinking too much. My Catit domes water fountain has a 3 litre tank and was decending very rapidly in the week. This morning, I found Dicky putting his paw down the hole and splashing water all over the place. He did this before bu more out of curiosity and not with splashing. It seems we've progressed
Luckily I bought the optional mat for it and that has a lip that keeps all but the far flung water from the carpet. Sigh. I love my boys.

Water play
Ours empty our catit tank in a day & a half but used to empty quicker than that when Welly wrapped his arms round the dome to watch the air bubbles,I am surprised one of yours hasn't cottoned on yet Peter,the other favourite was pulling one of the blankets out of the bed & putting one end in the water bowl part & of course one very wet bit of bedding plus empty dome...!
Have changed the bedding now & so far have won that round.

Water play
How right you are Helen & Welly could just have stepped up to the mark again,I did catch it on video on the camera but it won't let me down load it which is a pain, we call it Wellys bit of fluff,it is just a small purple bit of fur off of a toy that he carries around & growls at the others to keep away from him,he has now discovered that it is great fun dropping it into the water dish we have down when daughters dog is here,he swishes it around in the water gets it out drops it on the floor then picks it up & back into the water bowl,lovely,now I was quite happy filming away when suddenly fluff in mouth off he goes,hubby said I should have carried on filming but was too busy trying to head his lordship off as I suddenly thought oh s**t the bedroom door is open,too late,Welly & sopping wet bit of fluff right in the middle of the duvet...
Think he is one up on mum again

This cat off the street may have been an MC mix, although he was such an alpha-male to cause doubt {grin}
I'd put ice in the Drinkwell indoor fountain and he would drink for TWO MINUTES.
You know what happened to the litter box after his treat of "liquid tuna" {blush}

We have a sign in each bathroom "Did you forget to put the lid down?"
Both kitties like to walk around when you are doing your business in the toilet hoping that you'd not look at the sign and forget to close the toilet.
Ariella has a habit of jumping on the top of the shower booth and watch closely my husband taking his shower. So far, no incidents...But after reading this post he may consider standing to the cat with his back rather than front.
