Simba
Hi guys, sorry not posting much at the moment, seemed to have had a bit of a rough time recently which I wont bore you with the all the details but one of the things is that one of my dogs has been very ill and we almost lost her to liver disease, touch wood she seems to be getting better slowly after seeing the specialist vets who were all brilliant. Simba is still growing, especially his coat which is getting quite a handful to keep unmatted (as he hates being groomed) and his tail seems to go on forever - he is outside a lot of the time now especially now the spring seems to have arrived and is becoming quite the hunter. Last week he brought a mouse in (alive) which ran behind washing machine and yesterday he caught a small rat which he killed (thank goodness!). He has at long last learnt to go toilet outside which I never thought he would so we have finally managed to get rid of the litter tray. Not sure where he is going as he is very discreat but think it's probably in the field out back. He is quite a character and here are a couple of pics I took today lying in one of his favourate spots - the kitchen table, where he watches us eat!

Thanks guys. I'm taking him to a groomer tomorrow cos he is starting to build up some matting and I just can't keep him still long enough to get them out. The groomer seemed confident even though I told her he can be a nightmare when he has had enough - she said they are often better away from thier owners We will have to wait and see - I have visions of going to collect him and the women walking out covered in scratches and bites and telling me never to bring him back! I will let you know how it goes.
