Good vibes needed
Thank Enrique Louise, looking forward to seeing him growing up & thinking "If only"that is even further into the distance now with Bruce getting so upset having the other furries about but fingers crossed when we can get him sorted things will settle down again,on the other hand with the extra attention he is getting & no threat of the water squirter "because he is so poorly"knowing him either way he will play this for all his worth, for the first time for several days he ran out into the garden, had a goood roll round & chirruped at the others,he then saw me watching & went all pathetic, perhaps he realised that being such a weakling had finally got the better of mum & wanted to try & cheer her up a bit...
Thanks everyone will post when I get home Monday anything that has or has not been found up to that point, our bloods get sent away so will not know the results on them until Tuesday..

Good vibes needed
Have left my boy at work still a bit bemused by everything but daddy will pick him up in another couple of hours.I am normally in at work if I have anything done to my animals but today was my day for actually being in the op theatre & have to say I felt pig sick handling him & now have ended up with a stinking headache.
Good news is that his spine is fine, boss thinks that because he is so long backed & very lean that perhaps he tweaks it wrong on occasions because {badish bit} in lay terms his hips are completely cream crackered, both have chronic oesteoarthritis in them but we can cope with that,we will take him to see the chiro vet again next week & after him looking at the xrays will work out the best course of action for him, even if he has to go more often & he certainly had seemed better this weekend having been three weeks on the trot,he will have pain relief for the next couple of days having been pulled about but hoping chiro & yes Candes will be trying him on nutraceuticals as well hopefully will be able to avoid long term use of pain killer for a while.
He had his teeth checked at the same time & although he has had bouts of gingivitis from a kitten & the tooth abscess a few weeks ago there were no problems with his mouth at all,no Forls on any teeth,no pockets in the gums which tend to develop with signs of gum disease & although boss done a scale & polish it was with tongue in cheek because there was nothing to remove, not bad for a nine year old cat bless him.
Now have a 24hr wait for blood results, having the whole screening done on him, might as well,I know things can change quickly in animals but we might as well have a starting point.
Had better give the other cats a bit of time because once a certain other one arrives I might just have to have a few extra cuddles,if he forgives me that is....

Somehow missed this thread, so sorry for poor Bruce and his troubles, but isn't he just in the best possible hands, he is a very lucky boy in that respect. Hope he feels better soon xxx
