Good vibes needed for Brucee please....
Also for his mummy who goes to bits like every one else on here when this is something amiss with their babe, especially when it is the lightweight, long, slim, bend at a wrong angle legged boy with magnificent presence & deep down is mum's favourite one who can do no wrong.
Over the last few years Bruce has had big problems with both his sacroiliac joints becoming fixed which in turn put his spine out & we are so lucky to have a vet who is a chiropractor who has always kept him free & moving with ease, after the first few sessions we have taken him up for a quick top up session every three months or so but this time he had to go early as he seemed in a lot of pain & was really miserable, the first week he had completely seized at the back plus all his spine was out, could hear the pops as the vet worked up his back, the second week everything was fine with jumping gear but one spot on his spine was very sore now this week everything started off well but the vet hit another very sore spot but further up the spine so on monday he is coming to work with me to have xrays done,so what does one do but panic, there may be nothing at all wrong, fingers crossed, there may only be slight arthritic changes,he will be nine this month, there could be spondylosis of the spine{ but along with chiro China who had the worst ever spondylosis of the spine & OA of every joint that either of our vets had seen kept mobile without need of pain relief right up to the end}so really I can cope with that but being a mum you think the worse & what ifs start creeping in,also Bruce although very brave at facing things at the vets when he comes home is a real wuss, nothing of course to do with the fact that he knows mummy is wrapped round that bendy front paw,now where is my little boy, will feed the others & pop them out in the pen while I find what I can tempt my litle lover boy with today for brekkie, bless his little white cotton socks....!

Poor Bruce and poor you - nothing worse than when our furry babies are ill or suffering.
I hope it's just a bit of a blip and that he can get it sorted out and be comfortable again
Enrique sends cuddles your way ;-)

Oh I hope Bruce is ok. I know what you mean about worrying about them if they're ill. I'm dreadful and if they have to go to the vet for anything I get so wound up it's untrue.

Sorry to hear about Bruce, jackie. It's perfectly understandable to panic, especially as losing china must still be so raw. They all become so precious to us so fast, and I don't think all the experience in the world makes it any easier when they're not we'll or in pain. Fingers crossed it's a one off. Hugs and licks from me and the furries xxx

Sorry to hear about Bruce. I second your emotion I always worry for the worse and I feel silly getting so emotional. My poor boy has been loved up all week as I just found out he has a stage 2 heart murmur and goes in Monday to see cardio. Loved up so much he is hiding from his mommy. So I am sure Bruce is getting lots of love and he is lucky to have you!
