On hols with your MC
We want to holiday in the UK this year and are looking for a cat friendly hotel or B&B for Buddy. Does anyone know of one in the UK?
Does anyone have personal experience of one? It would need to be somewhere realtively peaceful.
So I've been scouring the 'net in vain for a cat friendly hotel or B&B but nothing. We dont want to leave Buddy in a cattery if we
can possibly avoid it. We were hoping to holiday in either Somerset/Gloucester, Wales, Norfolk or Suffolk.

I thought there was a list somewhere. Have you tried the usual suspects like the Cats Protection League, RSPCA, BBC (!), GCCF web sites ?
Failing that, fine the area you want, get a list of B&Bs, Hotels etc. cross out all the "chains" and then just phone them up. I know, but if you have a standard set of questions then you should be OK and eventually find someone.

On hols with your mC
When we wanted to incorporate a cat show with a weeks holiday I just looked up a place I liked which said pets welcome rather than dogs & just emailed them & said did "Pets"cover a well behaved MC cat,no problem & as they lived next door said they were looking forward to meeting him ,the only rule was he was not allowed upstairs but that applied also to dogs,we took along his cage as well so in the mornings if it was nice he sat outside the door in that with his tray & brekkie in it & watched the world pass by,after a few days all the dog walkers were talking too him & he just sat & preened like Lord Muck,we have also stayed at B & B accomodation over night for shows up & down the country & the same applied so just start looking & emailing in your preffered area...x

Welcome to Lower Chilverton - Home Page
Haven't stayed there yet obviously so can't tell you what it's like but it looks great, and the owner has been a pleasure to deal with so far!
