Thread: Harness Training

I started getting Roxy used to her harness from about 14 weeks, and she ventured out into the garden on her retractable leash (she's still a little too small to pull it though, so I have just clamped it fully extended with a clothes peg) for the first time yesterday! It was amazing - her big ears just kept tilting back and forth, taking in the sounds of birds and lawnmowers, kids playing, insects...and the soft feel of moss and grass under her furry paws. Now she is going crazy this morning, wants to go out and play again...It's definitely worth getting them to have a little outside time, especially as in the evening she was all 'played out' and as cuddly and snoozy as a little bedbug!
