Boris has arrived
Boris came today - he flew in at 1.00 and has sure made himself at home since his arrival.
There was no tentative steps out of his cage - he just stomped out
There was no nervous walking around - he just circled his room sniffing
He then came up to me - tried to climb my leg and then lay in my arms purring
The happy arrival was tainted by the sad passing of my beautiful red heeler dog last night. She dislocated her hip and a combination of not being able to put it back under anaesthetic and some other severe health issues meant that I had to make a horrifically difficult decision.
Welcome Boris
RIP Molly

I'm so sorry for your loss - what an awful time for it to happen when you were expecting such an exciting bundle of fluff! :(
Boris looks awesome I didn't think you could get maine coons with that sort of colouring until I saw IrishKitty's. I love it - they remind me of Jess from Postman Pat (my little cousin, also called Jess LOVES postman pat so I get to watch a lot of it when I'm home).
I'm sure the new little guy will help you through your grief.
xx

I'll echo others. Congrats on Boris coming home and sympathies for your hard choice with Molly.
Looks like Boris will be in charge by 4pm.
