Watching your MC grow
I find it fascinating watching our MC grow into herself
We got her at 15 weeks and she was as big as our persian, she is now double the size
She seemed to reach that size very fast; within a year I reckon
Yet every now and them I will go back over old photos and will notice that something else has changed since the photo was taken
She is now 2 I noticed at year one but full size, her hair was much shorter, it's very long now all over, nice maine
Her eyes have faded of colour, they were dark amber before, now they are yellower
She has grown into a lot of her baggy skin
She talks more now, sadly we talk back as well and seem to end up having a full on conversation in MC chat {embarrassing to admit on here}
So what changes have you noticed about yours... and what have we got to come

Watching your MC grow
I don't think it is embarrassing to admit to holding full conversations with your girl,I do it with five of them, can take up a fair bit of the day too.
You have made me start thinking about the changes in mine as they have grown & to be truthful I have just taken the growth rate & coat changes etc as all par for the course & not really thought too much about it but I think as they have matured I have found all their little ways that more endearing & special, something I didn't think would be possible as every day with them is great, they have all just come home from the cattery & at the moment they are all trying to tell me something different, even that is fun because one chirrups, one miows loudly, one talks in such a deep voice it rumbles, another opens her mouth & if she is lucky a squeak comes out but more often than not there is nothing & the other one does a mixture of chirrups along with so much purring it deafens you so will now try to sort out what information they are passing on & look forward to reading more posts from people on here who are much more observant than me...x

MC Elvis just turned two years and he's still too skinny.
I can feel his ribs and backbone when I hold him. It almost seems as if he's starved but
there's always food available. Because of all the hair, it doesn't really show...
Vet says he's OK so I don't worry too much. He's a fairly methodical eater while the
other two MCs I've had over the years were complete gobblers. MC Bubba was 27 lbs
when I got him from the pound and one doesn't get that big without a healthy appetite.
Whenever it seems as if he's filling out a bit his bones grow a bit more and he gets bigger and skinnier again.
I need to weigh & measure him. He was 42" nose to tail tip last time, but it's a wrestling match to put the tape on him...
I've always heard that it takes 3 or 4 years for MCs to finish growing so I'll be glad to wait a while...
