Happy 6 month Birthday to my cubs
Today Leo, Bert and Dicky are 6 months old. It seems not so long ago I held 2 week old kittens in my hands. Sniff. I will post some pics tonight of how they are getting on but one thing for certain, they are HUGE. They are the best thing that ever happened to me and I can see why those who are so inclined to have human children think they are special
PS As per my announcement to facebook, as of today I no longer have kittens - they will now be referred to as "cubs" - they are too big for kittens. Visitors express opinions, expletives removed, along the lines of "You said you had kittens?"

... except Bertie has discovered, precisely today, how to jump into an (empty) bath. So they can jump. My friends "alpha" MC boy easily leaps to a 5 foot mantlepiece too.

Happy, Happy half year to the Lads. MC's don't jump - tell that to Flo who this morning woke us up at 5 am by leaping up the bedroom curtains and perching on top of the curtain rail, shinned up the bathrobe on the back of the bathroom door and precariously walked along the top of the door which has a sheer drop down to the ground floor and just now leapt from the floor to the top of a 5ft 6 freezer, from there to a bookshelf over a door and from there to the top of a cupboard which is fixed over the top of the freezers at ceiling height. Her brother, Noah isn't quite so adventurous but he is often found on top of the shower curtain rail.
Before MC's my hair was a little grey and now its almost totally white!

What three very handsome cubs you have there, luv the last picture of them all together.
I know exactly what you mean though about people who come to see the kittens, there they are,no we want to see the babies, that is the babes, can't be they look like adults, well they are not they are babes, then the people become in awe of them don't they, blimey if they are that size now whatever will they be like fully grown,we are lucky because all we used to do was get the adults to come in then to give them an idea....!
We still have people come up past ours just to see if the crew are sitting in the window.

I am very partial to reddish males, as my first cat was a red MC mix male. Your three are very, very cute. I cannot imagine dealing with three young MC males at once, though. Must be exhausting sometimes.

Happy half birthday boys, it does not seem long since your slave had his purrtinity leave!!!!
Got to say you are growing into three damn fine looking boys.
I know what you mean about size, I just love peoples faces when they are visiting if I go and get one of them to say hello, it's even better when Hector is woken up and yawns and shows off his teeth. Roxy is normally too busy sticking her head into handbags!!!
