Storm's new home :)
Storm came to live with us yesterday after so much anticipation!
We have been keeping Louise updated on his settling in and there have been no problems at all. He is eating, drinking and going loo as he should and he has officially taken charge of the house
His first night he spent charging around playing with his toys and sliding off the end of the bed. I'm sure our neighbours downstairs now are aware that we keep elephants in the flat! He has taken to sitting and looking out of the front window (lots of our neighbours let their cats out to the front, on the street ) so he sits there and looks at them. He has also taken a really strange interest in my flying saucer sweets, which we have had to hide, and also keeps rolling around with our bathroom rug and licking it, and we have no idea why!
We already love him to bits and would just like to thank Louise for letting us have him - we are ever so grateful!
Now my master beckons - he wishes for cuddles and belly-rubs
Ems xx

Hi Ems,
So glad Storm has settled in. Great pictures, he looks so much like Raggles in some of the shots!

He spent most of last night cuddled up in bed with me! He has been eating well, but not too much. He spent an hour this morning doing the wall of death around the flat and attacking Marco's feet that were underneath the duvet, he kept accidentally bouncing off the end of the bed which had us in stitches! He is currently cuddled up on top of Marco trying to get his sweets. He practically sits on our plates when we are eating then sulks for a minute when we don't give him what he wants. This morning he nicked a few of my coco pops! We love him to bits and he really has helped with missing Sooty, I'm sure that if Sooty had been around now he would have had so much fun with Storm. Sooty used to lvoe doing the wall of death around the flat too, so they would have probably chased each other!
Steve, love that picture of them two together, have saved it to my computer

I am a fan of Storm and Raggles, so I am lapping up these new pics. Congratulations, sounds like his paws are already properly under the table, as well as just about everywhere else! xxx

His paws are absolutely everywhere! Most of the time in our food if we aren't looking..... :D
He has taken to sleeping curled up next to me but then charging around the house at 4am, every morning. I keep finding my bed-time is getting earlier and earlier as a result! He gets annoyed if I ignore him too and then decides he is going to either attack my feet or legs (or head, as I once had) or just roll around in my face to get attention :p It doesn't seem to make a difference if we play with him for a few hours in the evening!
He is eating really well, but he does try and beg for more! He gets about a tetrapack of Bozita a day so he eats very little dry, which is my preference, but it's always accessible if he wants it! We have started to wean him on to Acana Pacifica (or we THOUGHT we had started to wean him, turns out he now just picks them out and leaves his JWB) and his tummy has been perfectly fine, which is great. On Louise's advice we have been mixing in a few kitten dry biccies in case he decides to slurp up Benji's. Marco was shocked at the size of a MC poop, he was used to Moggy-sized!
He saw our neighbours cat going through our garden this morning so got really wound up, I think he already considers it to be "his turf", as he kept trying to open the door. Luckily we keep it locked.
He isn't very chatty, which we have had to get used to as Sooty would talk for king and country, and he only went quiet if he was sleeping or up to something. He has chirped to me a few times though, but Marco has yet to hear it. He has heard him meow though and he was surprised he didn't have a deeper voice considering his size. He sounds a little bit feminine!
Once again all we can say is thank you to Louise for letting us have him, we love him to bits! xxxMummy to;

We love him to bits and think he is so handsome!
Benji arrived yesterday, and it;s been moving forward. Yesterday there was quite a bit of hissing and growling (from Benji, not Storm!). Today they both slept next to me after my laser eye op, Storm curled up against my waist and Benji on top of me. Storm has done some licking of Benji's head, which Benji purred through and they seem to be able to co-exist quite close together without any hissy fits. Storm is such a big softie though, he just wants cuddles and play from his new brother. He follows him everywhere and if he can't see him calls for him until he finds him. Benji tells Storm off if he thinks it's getting out of hand, but there hasn't been any fur flying or real fights which is good!
Please meet Storm's new brother, Kassaro Benjamin Franklyn!
