I'm so excited for you and to see little Dot! I showed Dave her story and he thought she was so sweet!
Teddy was grooming my hair this morning :/ charming! He's been quite good and hasn't been sleeping on our faces or anything - I think we're going to try and keep him in the lounge tonight. We tried last night and he was fine about it as that's where his little bed is but then a bunch of guys were being really loud outside so he got scared.

This little chap has such a personality! Even more so than we expected! Although he's starting to get naughty - he keeps jumping on the worktops now and earlier tried to impale himself on a knife...I was out - Dave was in charge!
He also keeps finding beetles in our flat - ICK!
Dave let him sleep in the lounge by himself last night (well, when we slept between 2 and 7 am) and I don't think he was too impressed about it. He didn't come shouting to be let into our room but when we woke up he was straight in there. I'm not sure whether we should keep keeping him out of our room or if we should let him stay until he's completely settled in? I know we should start as we mean to go on but I'm worried he's not ready to be left on his own at night? *is now a complete cat slave*

Found him, bless, don't know why this thread didn't show up when I looked last night but ok today.
Luv them ears still, will be interesting watching him grow into them.
Hard Auntie Jackie says start as you mean to go on,don't let him in the bedroom if you don't want him in there,I believe they should be treated like children,as much as you luv them there should be boundries that you all respect & I enjoy the bedtime routine of kisses, cuddles, head butts & chirrups & then all settling down in our own space,we just had to ban noisey toys from their room though, bouncy balls & squeaky mice make one hell of a racket in the early hours of the morning. They are allowed on the bed for morning cuddles at the weekend though & that is extra special time for us all....x

Do you think I might, once they grow up, run out of space on my super king-size bed and three fully grown boys ?
Forbid me getting a girlfriend who may want to share...

Share what Peter, you, the bed or the three furries....?
At least if she was happy to share all & the furries were happy you would know you have got the right person, animals instincts can be a lot better than our own....!
Will be interesting to see how long Teddy only commands a third of the bed..x

We've moved the bed (we've only moved in so are rearranging things) and now he's less keen on sleeping anywhere he could fall off - before it was against the wall so he would just sleep there and it was us who had to make sure we didn't fall out! Now he sleeps on Dave's pillow. So it doesn't bother me at all :P except that I wake up to an unexpectedly kitten like face rather than Dave's!
We're having people over tomorrow as it's Dave's birthday and I'm a little worried as no one's been to see Teddy yet and I wasn't keen on everyone coming at once. Lots of people are excited to meet them but I'm not sure how to tell them not to scare the hell out of him? I think we're going to keep him in our room and keep most people out of there...Teddy loves new people - he sees them all as potential playmates/slaves so he doesn't shy away or get too worried.

Don't lock him in the room, but make sure there is somewhere quiet where people are not allowed and he can go "hide". You realise if it's your bedroom then he will come to treat it more and more like his den?
I am sure he will be fine, just make sure everyone has a fishing rod toy at all times!

Well we're kind of stuck with the bedroom as it's the only room people won't be in - I was planning on staying in there with him until he was happy enough to stay with some other people or me and Dave would switch!
He thinks the whole flat is his den!
Dave has been rubbish at keeping the flat nice when I'm at work and he keeps blaming Teddy...sigh! Boys will be boys.
