Show day over.....

Have just got home & sorted after a very relaxing day at trhe FB show at Bourne.
We have come home with two International Premiers,both Welly & Shimba got their final certificates for that stage.Welly is now going to retire from showing,he was not bought to show but we thought we would take him along with his brother to see what happened & he has done well & always got his certificates but never gone any further so he is bowing out on a high,he did win the club members side class though which was great,Shimba got Best in Variety & won nomination for Best in Show but the three judges all picked a seperate cat so the numbers had to go into a hat & the winner decided that way,not the best but fair,it has happened when only two judges have been available for your catagory but I think its the first time I have known it with three, it was won by someone who used to show a silver alongside Merl so was really pleased for her but the irony was that when she knew he was going up fo Best in Show she came & asked me if I would go & groom him up for her because his coat was splitting so 15 minutes of good old powdering & slicker brushing set him up to beat my boy.
Well thats it until next month & then off we go again with Shimba,will hate leaving bruv behind though...!
