The only person who thinks it's a bad idea is my mother-in-law....but she is super-cautious about bloody everything (although I love her dearly).

The thing is, the kitten is a solid white, and we've got a thing about white cats - used to have 2 all-white brother cats (moggies from the shelter) in the 1990s who were amazing.
If we do go ahead, then we will have '3 MC's and one DJ' - our very own version of the Beastie Boys!!!
And if it takes a Maine Coon to make us finally break the 3-cat rule, well, then that's yet another super special thing about this breed....addict, moi??
