Good luck with the journey - let us know how he is. I hate long car rides - from years of going on holiday with three screaming kids in the back - think it put me off for life! Now if I go anywhere I have two howling dogs instead which is slightly easier on the ears than the kids - think a cat sounds easy in comparison

Hope all goes well
Storvenn isnt so keen on car journeys. Well.. when I say that what i mean is, isnt so keen on being in a carrier. If we ever think about going to shows, Im gonna make/buy him a larger safe area / carrier for the back of the car.
Im sure Winston will be fine

Good luck.
I'm still tossing up on how to get my kitten when he's ready. It's an 8 hour drive, but I'm thinking I might organise a carrier to bring him down on the plane which is only 1 1/2 hours as I'm worried he will get overly stressed.

Okay folks as some of you know I had to postpone the "big car journey" a few weeks ago, but it's back on track.
We leave early in the morning so won't be online for a few days!
I'll report back next week to let you know how "the big trip" went

we had a 2 hour journey to bring Fudge back. Luckily for us our estate car has a built in dog guard so we put it up, put her a bed in the back and she had the whole of the boot to herself. Had no problems! However, in a basket on the way to the vets (0.25m) she did not like it at all!
