    Jasper and Bailey

Well, anyone who read the other thread will know that we have just adopted Jasper and Bailey, 2 gorgeous MC boys just coming up for 2 years old. Please correct me if I'm wrong, Jasper is a stunning red classic tabby with white and I think Bailey is a cream tabby, he looks like a white lion anyway!

It was a very long journey home for them but they coped with it fantastically and have now been here for 24 hours. Both are sniffing around and exploring their new home, it's more fun watching them than the telly! Last night Jasper had us in stitches as he encountered the dog (a VERY large German Shepard) for the 1st time face to face. As the resident cat was out we let them in the sitting room, both came in and started to explore but jasper very purposely worked his way round the room to the dog bed were Diesel was lying peacefully. With great deliberation he crept up and aimed two huge swipes at the poor dogs nose, hitting the floor next to it with a big bang! Diesel never even lifted his head from the floor! At that Jasper arched his back and turned tail and ran, only to return a couple of minutes later with Bailey (it looked like he'd gone to get back up).

Later last night as we went to bed I called through Diesel to come to bed and he was very reluctant to pass Jasper in the hall, first heading into the kitchen, then my daughters bedroom before actually going through to our room where he sleeps next to our bed. Jasper stood his ground but it looked to me that although the dog wasn't scared of the cat he knew the cat was not confident of him and didn't want to scare Jasper!

As soon as I locate the camera (still unpacking here) I'll get pics of them up in their new home, even my mum who was very disapproving of the idea of two new cats in the house has called me today to tell me all about the wonderful personalities of MCs after meeting them yesterday and falling in love herself!

It's amazing watching them get to know the new surroundings, rubbing against everything they come across and sniffing everything the see so carefully.

Many many thanks to Jasper&Bailey (the poster here ) for letting us adopt their beautiful boys, in just the 3 days we have known them we are all completely in love with them!

Aww, so sweet. And Bailey seems to be the grown-up spitting image of my Bertie. I hope you all have a happy and long life together!
