Being smitten with Maincoons I think they possess very special powers. However, I realize that cats are very uncanny as species.
Recently I went to Borders Books Out-of-business sale and bought 2 wonderful books about cats.

One is a phenomenal story about Oscar-cat with the special talent to predict death and perform the mission of guiding deceased to their last journey.
